Join us for this Thursday edition of ETEC to meet and hear from Candice Robertson, EM1. This meeting will be in person only.

ETEC will not meet on Friday, August 2. We will see you on Friday, August 9 when we resume our regular schedule.

NOW News

Day 2 of the NOW Conference is going strong. We've had 600 people join us over the last two days! Watch for a full recap coming soon. The regional events and news sections will return next week.

News From the Conference:

Type One Energy announced they will be locating their headquarters in the Hardin Valley area of Knoxville in the Oak Ridge Corridor. They have also closed their seed round with $82.5 million! Read more here.

 

Kairos Power started construction of the Hermes Reactor in the historic East Tennessee Technology Park!

LIS Technologies is working on bringing laser isotope separation for uranium enrichment (LEU and HALEU) technology to Oak Ridge, Tennessee in the East Tennessee Technology Park! More details coming soon. 

 

Awards Nominations

ETEC is accepting nominations for the 2024 Muddy Boot Award and Postma Young Professional Medal through September 19, 2024. These will be presented at the Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration in early December. To learn more and submit a nomination click here.
