ETEC Industry Capability Showcase

Information Technology Innovation

November 6, 2024 | 9:00 am-12:00 pm

UT Outreach Center, Oak Ridge

ETEC member companies in the Information Technology (IT) sector will showcase their products & capabilities at an event designed for learning and connecting.

 

The event will feature 10 minute presentations/product demonstrations, exhibit tables, and networking. IT companies are invited to present and exhibit. All are welcome to attend.

 
 

How You Can Help

 

Many groups in our region are taking donations to help those affected by Tropical Storm Helene. Here are a few that we know of as a resource for you.

Barnhart Crane

Collecting Tuesday-Thursday (tomorrow) - 7:00 am-4:30 pm for the City of Newport Disaster Center. Delivery on Friday morning of bottled water, toiletries, dry goods, baby items, pet food, and small packaged foods. Drop off at Barnhart Crane; 100 Crane Lane; Oak Ridge, TN 37830. Contact Kris Meyer with questions, (865) 363-5337 / or by email.

City Of Oak Ridge

Collecting Monday-Thursday (tomorrow) - 8:00 am-6:00 pm for the TEMA crews in Newport. Delivery on Friday of bottled water. Drop off at 200 South Tulane Avenue in the parking lot. Contact the City with questions.

Redefining Work Systems Symposium

Emailed their attendees  about the needs of the healthcare system in the affected area. See their status here. Monetary donations: Ballad Health Foundation online at Make a Gift Online, designate to 3 areas: Disaster Relief Fund, Ballad Health Patient Assistance Fund, or Ballad Team Member Emergency Fund. Also, monetary donations to United Way of East TN Highlands Disaster Relief.

ETEC welcomes TNFIRST as a new member.

TNFIRST, Inc. is a non-profit corporation in Tennessee focused on connecting K12 students to the world of FIRST robotics and events. They believe that K12 students have the best opportunity at future success when exposed to the world of business and manufacturing during their middle and high school years. Using the FIRST competitive robotics programs provides ALL students the opportunity to solve problems, work in a team environment, and learn about all aspects of business and technology.
