ETEC welcomes Firehawk Products and Services, Inc. as a new member.

Firehawk Product & Services is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, the President of Firehawk wished to incorporate the knowledge he obtained from his military experience, where he worked with small businesses to obtain mission critical supplies, and became inspired to provide the same service. His passion and commitment to serve those supporting the United States of America continues through the incorporation of Firehawk established in memory of his former squadron - HCS-5 Firehawks.

 

4 Students Looking for Internships

Oak Ridge High School has 3 work-based-learning students who are looking for semester long internships. They all have an interest in business. (One is bilingual in Spanish with translating abilities.) Likewise, Anderson County High School has a student with interests in engineering and IT who would like an internship.

 

These students are available for 2-3 hours per day up to 5 days a week until December. If you are interested in hosting an intern at your organization/company please contact Nicole or visit the Internships In Industry page and/or fill out the interest form.

 

Awards Nominations

ETEC is accepting nominations for the 2024 Muddy Boot Award and Postma Young Professional Medal through September 19, 2024. These will be presented at the Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration in early December. To learn more and submit a nomination click here.
