Retired individuals who still want to be active in the ETEC community and represent the ETEC mission are welcome to join at a reduced rate. This is an individual membership which means that a company name will not be listed in the online membership directory or on your Friday morning meeting nametag. Also, your individual membership will not be listed in the online public membership directory.

The ETEC Student Membership is open to all currently enrolled students with a valid email address issued by an academic institution. There is no charge associated with this membership type.

The Student Membership will expire at the end of each July, and will need to be renewed after August 1st each year. Students are welcome to renew their membership as long as they are are enrolled at an academic institution. (This is to make sure our membership roles stay updated and to make sure students still actively want to be involved.)

As a Student Member, you will be listed in the ETEC Online Student Member Directory. This allows our members to easily find and have access to your contact information. 

Pro Tip: Our members love to interact with students whenever they can. We encourage you to come in person to our Friday Morning Meetings and engage to create lasting connections.

The ETEC Student Membership includes the following benefits:

  • Weekly opportunities to interact with senior management of the Oak Ridge federal & business community at the Friday Morning ETEC meetings. 
  • News and events updates on a weekly basis through our 'ETEC News & Notes' e-newsletter.
  • Opportunity to bring guests to the Friday Morning Meetings.
  • Invitation to attend our 'After Work with ETEC' events geared towards connecting younger and established professionals.
  • Invitation to attend other ETEC events like our annual Nuclear Opportunities Workshop.
  • Volunteer opportunities upon request.
