As Eastman’s Technology Manager for Decarbonization, Greg is a driving force in forging a more sustainable future. He develops resilient decarbonization pathways, supported by a deep understanding of techno-economic viability across a suite of greenhouse gas reducing technologies. His scope spans low-carbon process heat, breakthrough process transformations, and lasting CO2 reduction.
Greg’s vision for the chemical industry of the future includes a robust mix of legacy operations made feasible by low-cost and low-carbon heat, alongside circular and electrified process technologies made possible by research, development, and deployment of the next generation of unit operations.
Across his 22 years with Eastman, Greg has worked as a process design engineer, licensing technology manager, group leader, and technology scout. He and his wife, Kimberly, live in Kingsport, with four children between the ages of 6 and 20.
