Examine scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and be thrust into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it. Enjoy the experience in Oak Ridge, before it is released to the public!
This premium private screening event will be on Thursday, July 20, at 7:00 pm at the Cinemark Theater in Oak Ridge. Tickets are $30 + taxes and fees and includes movie admission and refreshments.
Note: There will not be any previews before the this movie. The movie will start right at 7:00 p.m. Please arrive early to gather your drink and popcorn, and to find your seat(s). The movie run-time is 3 hours. This event is also a fundraiser for the Oak Ridge History Museum, with proceeds from ticket sales going to the Museum. There will be some fanfare outside of the theatre before hand with vintage cars. Attendees are welcome to wear vintage clothing.
This event is organized by Explore Oak Ridge and presented by the East Tennessee Economic Council, American Museum of Science & Energy Foundation, UT- Battelle, and UCOR.
