Description
Come to the the first-ever K-25 Reunion on April 27, 2024. This is a run-up to the 80th anniversary of the bomb for next year's event. Current sponsors include CROET, Nuclear Care Partners, Munsey Pharmacy, and Coalition of Oak Ridge Retired Employers. We plan to have a large tent by the K-25 History Center, plus an affordable BBQ.
We are pleased to announce that several of the site's past Plant Managers will attend to address the reunion attendees, including Waldo Golliher, Gordon Fee, Bob Merriman, Bob Eby, and hopefully Harold Conner.
The reunion is open to retirees, past and present employees and their family members, and contractors including those who worked at K-25/ETTP, BNFL, USEC/Centers, or the Security Forces. The K-25 History Museum will be open for attendees to visit as a reminder of K-25's early days and times together. We will soon have a banner at the front of the site to notify passers-by about the reunion, and it will welcome our attendees when they arrive on April 27.
