Given the momentum nuclear energy is gaining in an increasing number of countries across the world to address the concerns that characterize today’s context (namely global warming and energy security concerns), this year’s ‘Forum’ will focus on the areas to work on, to ensure sustainability of the nuclear option. The case of France will be presented, with a special focus on the fuel cycle, given the limited uranium resources and the need to optimize its use. Franco-American collaboration, and more generally U.S. international perspectives will be presented. As we explore the strengths and innovations of France, participants will engage in meaningful dialogue on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
