Coquí Pharma (Coquí) is building a dedicated Medical Isotope Production Facility (MIPF) at Oak Ridge, TN. This MIPF will be the first such facility in the United States and is designed to create a commercially scalable and reliable source of medical diagnostic and therapeutic radioisotopes for nuclear medicine. The MIPF facility will produce Molybdenum-99 (Mo-99) using two 10MW open pool LEU nuclear reactors and will employ over 200 highly skilled workers.
