The Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management (OREM) is a U.S. Department of Energy office responsible for cleaning up legacy waste and environmental contamination from decades of nuclear research and weapons production in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. It leads large-scale projects to safely remove hazardous materials, demolish outdated facilities, and restore land across sites.
