Kyoto Fusioneering America is the US subsidiary of Kyoto Fusioneering (KF), which builds the systems every commercial fusion power plant will need to operate: gyrotron plasma heating, the deuterium-tritium fuel cycle, and breeding blankets. Founded in 2019 as a spin-out from Kyoto University, KF develops the critical balance-of-plant technologies the entire fusion industry depends on — regardless of which plasma confinement approach ultimately leads.
