The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) system consists of 36 institutions with a combined annual enrollment of nearly 140,000 students, ranking it the largest system of public higher education in Tennessee. TBR's 13 community colleges and 23 colleges of applied technology offer classes in almost all of Tennessee's 95 counties. Aligned with TBR's mission of Student Success and Workforce Development, TBR is leading a coordinated, statewide approach to developing a robust nuclear workforce pipeline through Tennessee’s community colleges and TCATs. Our focus is on strengthening academic programs, expanding partnerships within the nuclear ecosystem, modernizing training infrastructure, and expanding access to high‑wage nuclear careers for Tennesseans.
