Join us at ETEC in person or virtually on Friday, September 6th at 7:30am for a presentation from Francisco de la Chesnaye, the VP of Energy Strategy & Economic Policy at OnLocation, Inc.  His bio is below.

Dr. Francisco de la Chesnaye will be speaking about OnLocation’s “U.S. Energy Horizons to 2050” report on scenarios illustrating the impacts of clean technology innovation and policies for the U.S. Energy Transition. Also includes a special focus on the potential growth in energy demand from data centers, the impacts on the grid, and the role of nuclear power.


No registration is necessary for in-person attendance.

Francisco de la Chesnaye
VP of Energy Strategy & Economic Policy
OnLocation, Inc. 

Francisco C. de la Chesnaye - VP, Energy Strategy & Economic Policy at OnLocation, responsible for executive leadership, energy strategy, and business development.  

He has over 25 years of experience implementing initiatives related to climate change, energy systems, and environmental sustainability. Prior to OnLocation, Dr. de la Chesnaye was a Senior Technical Executive at the Electric Power Research Institute and the Chief Climate Economist at U.S. EPA. 

Dr. de la Chesnaye has served on various expert panels, including EPA’s Scientific Advisory Board, the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, and the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. 

He earned a B.S. in Economics from Norwich University, M.A. in Economics from American University, M.S. in Environmental Science from Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Maryland.

You will find us at the intersection of Rice Rd and Rider Rd, just off of S Rutgers Ave across from ORNL Corporate Headquarters.
The Outreach Center is located on the back corner of the building on the Applebee’s side. The entrance faces the Quality Inn and Applebee's. 
Look for an awning and sign that says University of Tennessee Outreach Center. The main entrance of the ETEC Office will be locked.
