Hunter currently serves as the project manager for TVA’s 2025 IRP which serves as a comprehensive study that evaluates the region’s future power needs, the resource options available for meeting that demand and the potential economic, environmental and operating impacts of these options. It serves as a compass, providing strategic direction for how TVA can continue to provide affordable, reliable, resilient and increasingly cleaner power for decades to come.

Outside of the IRP, Hunter’s group facilitates the development of TVA’s long term-term power generation strategy through detailed capacity expansion modeling and heavy collaboration with other departments across TVA.
